Program Description
This one day seminar will help participants to improve their knowledge about current topics in the lactation community. More than 60% of normal, full-term newborns have some degree of jaundice. Understand the relationship between breastfeeding and jaundice and prevent premature weaning. Disaster preparedness covers all areas of our lives, learn how breastfeeding needs to be a priority to keep our children safe in times of crisis. Was breastfeeding included in your medical curriculum? How curious … what are ten things we need to know, but were not taught? We’ll round it out with addressing newborns that need a little help getting their coordination and sensitivities in line with successful breastfeeding.
